Cassie M.S. LAC, LADC, LPC, PHN, Treatment Director, Clinical Supervisor, and CEO of Beth's Place: Cassie received her master’s degree's in Addiction Counseling & Mental Health Counseling. Cassie specialized and received additional certifications in Forensic Interviewing, Group Therapy, Co-Occurring Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence Crisis's, and she is additionally serving on numerous mental health and addition boards. In her role at Beth's Place, Cassie loves getting to work with individuals and their families to offer education about substance abuse. She brings a gentle and empathic approach to group and individual therapy and is passionate about helping patients discover new coping skills to deal with uncomfortable emotions and make peace with their genuine selves. Cassie's personality has been known to be contagious and optimistic as she believes that all people deserve quality care. Addy Nelson M.S. LAC, LAPC, LBSW, LADC received her bachelor’s degree and licensure in social work in 2013, beginning a career as a case manager in a residential treatment setting. She obtained her master’s in counseling in 2017 and has further obtained addiction and mental health licensure in the state of North Dakota. At Beth’s Place, Addy provides group therapy as an LADC to enhance individual’s ability to utilize and build supports in their environment and become aware of relapse warning signs to sustain recovery and wellness. She follows the philosophy that people can and do recover. She brings experience to group providing education in areas of trauma, lifestyle balance, relapse prevention, codependency, and cognitive behavioral approach. Addy has a passion working along side individuals who have decided to make a positive change in their life.
Mandy M.S LAC, LADC. Mandy graduated with her Masters in Forensic Psychology and Addiction counseling. Mandy's certified in CBI-SA, group facilitation, assessments, and federal BOP clients. She brings enthusiasm, drive, and a depth of knowledge to the Beth's Place team.
Sequoia M.S., LSW, LADC: Sequoia received her bachelor’s degree and licensure in social work and obtained her master’s degree and further licensure in addiction counseling. She began her career in a residential treatment facility and obtained further experience working with homeless housing programs in the Fargo-Moorhead community. Sequoia’s values align with the person-centered services provided to each patient at Beth’s Place and integrates a multicultural perspective.
Ellie joined the Beth's Place team in 2020. She graduated from Minnesota State University in Mass Communications and Professional Sales. Ellie is one of the first people that new patients see when they are starting treatment, or coming in for their initial assessment. Ellie loves to see the transformations that patients make during their time at Beth's Place. She enjoys the opportunity to be able to help others start the process of recovery and enter into this familiar and highly successful model of treatment.
