A lot of people hesitate to call because they don’t know what will happen next. That makes sense.
Most people aren’t afraid of treatment — they’re afraid of being judged, forced into something, reported, or stuck. We’re intentional about doing this differently.
You’ll talk to a real person. We’ll ask a few basic questions, answer yours, and help you figure out next steps. There’s no pressure to decide anything on the spot.
You’ll speak with someone from our team who understands both the clinical side and how overwhelming this can feel. Our job is to help, not to interrogate.
The first appointment is a comprehensive assessment. It’s a conversation — not a test. We’ll talk about what’s going on, what brought you here, and what kind of support might be helpful.
Many people come in because an outside source recommended or required an assessment (probation, court, employer, school, or another provider). Others come simply because they want clarity. Both are okay.
It doesn’t matter where you start. It doesn’t matter if you only need an assessment and nothing else. What matters is completing the assessment so we can understand your situation and help guide next steps.
We’ll explain things clearly, answer your questions honestly, and go at a pace that feels manageable.
If you’re unsure, overwhelmed, or just trying to figure out what comes next that’s enough reason to start here.
